  • What I do

    I am a content designer and UX writer who works best when trying to create a narrative out of noise and clarity out of confusion.

    I've been doing this for over a decade and have done a bit of everything: obsessed over the right button copy, created content systems from scratch, made technical specs accessible to a common audience, and helped shape products so they never lose sight of the human at the other end.

    Put simply, I love creating cool things for people.

    Expedia Group - Chicago, IL

    UX Content Designer III, December 2023 – January 2026

    • Led content strategy and technical writing for API documentation that achieved an 87.7% adoption success rate, translating complex integration requirements into plain-language guidance accessible to engineers, product managers, and business leads alike.
    • Directed an AI-forward content redesign of Vrbo’s partner application, which included auditing navigation, terminology, and interactions end-to-end, then developing and presenting a new partner experience prototype to executive leadership.
    • Co-owned a design system documentation site for UX, product, and engineering teams, defining token use cases and Figma implementation standards that gave cross-functional teams a single source of truth.


    UX Content Designer II, December 2018 – December 2023

    • Owned content strategy for a ground-up analytics redesign reaching 70,000+ hotel partners, which required an audit of 50+ screens, a rebuild of the IA around partner mental models, and the creation of a scalable content system that contributed to $120M in revenue and a 10.2% increase in market penetration in year one.
    • Consolidated two separate advertising products into a single unified 5-step flow, corralling input from 6 teams (UX, content, research, product, engineering, and market managers) to ship a prototype that earned stakeholder sign-off and achieved 100% partner approval in user testing.
    • Defined content strategy and UX copy across multiple partner-facing products, collaborating with designers, engineers, researchers, and localisation teams from audit through launch.
    • Represented the content design team at Expedia Group’s annual hotelier conference to facilitate a product launch; regularly led content design crits and stakeholder presentations.

    • Oversaw all aspects of content strategy, including content audits, competitor analyses, and new content initiatives.
    • Determined workflow and editorial priorities within a quarterly budget while overseeing a team of editors and writers.
    • Collaborated with UX/UI teams to craft content for core personas and user interfaces. Coordinated marketing efforts with the marketing and PR teams.

    Editorial Manager, October 2017 – April 2018

    • Collaborated with the data science team to build an in-house, language-generating software.
    • Led SEO strategy, resulting in a 280% increase in organic traffic, 127% increase in ranking organic keywords, and a 20-position increase in domain authority.
    • Managed a team of editors, publishing operations managers, and staff writers. Pulled daily reports from Google Analytics, Ahrefs, and Linkdex to inform editorial strategy.

    • Developed editorial strategy. Assigned, managed, and edited writing projects. Researched and organized real estate market data to produce original, research-driven content.
